Hajin shuts for 3rd day to mourn teenage militants’ killing

Witnesses said all shops and other business establishments were closed while no vehicular traffic plied on the town roads.

For a third straight day on Tuesday, Hajin town in the north Kashmir district of Bandipora observed a complete shutdown to mourn the killing of two teenage militants. 

Witnesses said all shops and other business establishments were closed while no vehicular traffic plied on the town roads. 

On Sunday, Mudasir Parrey and Saqib Bilal Sheikh, aged 14 years and 17 years respectively, were killed along with a Pakistani militant in Mujgund near the town during a firefight that raged for 18 hours.
