Chairman of Peoples Democratic Front Hakeem Yaseen has ridiculed statement of BJP president Amit Shah that Article 35-A would be removed by 2020.
In a statement Yaseen said that Article 35-A and Article 370 are untouchable and tinkering with these Articles would have disastrous consequences for the whole country. “Everybody in the country knows that Article 35-A is the main condition for state’s accession with India.
Remarks of the BJP president about removing Article 35-A, at the time of ongoing Parliamentary elections, are ill-conceived and a vain effort to hoodwink public opinion for electoral gains.”
