Karwan-e-Islami (KeI) patron Moulana Ghulam Rasool Hami today laid the foundation stone of Khankahi Kadeef Hazrat Syed Sultan Ali Aalibalgi (RA) at Pakherpora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday.
Addressing a gathering on the occasion, Moulana Hami said, “solution of difficulties and hardships being faced by Muslims at global level is only possible when there will be unity and complete elimination of differences among the Muslims.”
“Lack of unity among the Muslims and its religious scholars have allowed enemies of Islam to take advantage of the situation this has added to the woes of Muslims,” Hami said.
“We strongly condemn the profaning sacred place in Pulwama. Shrines are sacred places for us and profaning these will not be tolerated in any way. We urge people to come forward and fight against sale and purchase of alcohol and drugs by some miscreants to ruin the younger generation.”
