The administration here on Saturday de-notified a village as red zone amind brewing anger among locals against the continued restrictions
An order issue by the district administration said more than 21 days have passed since last positive case was reported from Ganie Mohalla.
“It becomes eligible for de-notification as per the criteria and hence the village is hereby partially de-notified as red zone,” said the order.
On Friday, Greater Kashmir had carried a report quoting locals that the continued restrictions in the village have led to anger among residents.
“Because of the strict restrictions we could not move out of our village for all these days” said a local.
