The High Court on Monday quashed detention of two men who were booked under Public Safety Act (PSA).
A bench of Justice Ali Muhammad Magrey scrapped detention orders of Ajaz Hussain Rizvi popularly known as Ajaz Molvi of Nabdipora Hawal Srinagar and Shakeel Ahmad Yatoo of Hayatpora, Chadoora of District Budgam after hearing their counsels and the government through its counsel.
Molvi was booked under PSA on August 8 this year while Yatoo was booked on November 6 last year. The court directed the government to release the duo immediately from preventive custody.
