President J&K Peoples Movement Shah Faesal has expressed joy over the congratulatory telephone call made to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by Imran Khan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
In his tweet Shah Faesal prayed that the conversationbetween India and Pakistan would continue so that South Asia region can usherin an era of peace.
Shah Faesal said that the smallest gestures of friendshipbetween these two nuclear neighbours can make a huge difference to lives of thepeople of J&K.
He said that a time has come when these two strong leaderscan create history by going for a peaceful negotiated settlement of all issuesso that development and poverty alleviation can become national priorities forIndia and Pakistan instead of confrontation and war. “People of J&Kare looking forward to an era of change and it is hoped that new government inDelhi will create conducive environment for dialogue and development in theState”, he added.
Meanwhile, the JKPM leader from Sopore, Feroze Peerzada, hasexpressed gratitude to the Jammu and Kashmir Bank for opening its Business Unitin Rajpora Rampora village near apple town Sopore. He said that it was a longpending demand of the people to have a J&K Bank branch in the village. Hereiterated that JKPM was committed to serve people of the state and to solvetheir problems.
