All Parties Hurriyat Conference, in a meeting held on Saturday, has expressed grave concern about the deteriorating health of its chairman Syed Ali Geelani and appealed people to pray for his speedy recovery.
The meeting was presided over by Hurriyat Conference generalsecretary Ghulam Nabi Sumji at Hyderpora office, according to a statementissued by Hurriyat Conference.
In an advisory meeting of All Parties Hurriyat Conference,scheduled to be convened under the chairmanship of Syed Ali Geelani, waspresided over by its General Secretary Haji Gh. Nabi Sumji at Hyderpora, due toill health of its chairman.
Meeting also discussed the prevailing political situation inJammu and Kashmir. “The participant in the meeting said Kashmir is a longpending issue if put to backburner it has the potential of igniting andthreatening peace of not only subcontinent but whole world as well,” read thestatement. Hurriyat also expressed its concern about the alarming social evildrug addiction and stressed upon the measures for tacklingthe menace.
