Hurriyat (M) pays tributes  to slain Tral militants

The sacrifices of Kashmiris are the priceless asset of freedom struggle lying with the nation, the delegates said expressing solidarity with family members of two martyrs and offered condolences.

Hurriyat Conference (M) has paid glowing tributes to the two militants who were killed in an encounter in Tral area of south Kashmir. 

In a statement, Hurriyat (M) spokesperson said a party delegation comprising senior leaders including Musadiq Adil, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Javaid Ahmad Mir, Abdul Majeed Wani and other members of the conglomerate visited Hindor, Tral to pay rich tributes to the slain militants Sheeraz Ahmad and Abid Ahmad. 

“The sacrifices of Kashmiris are the priceless asset of freedom struggle lying with the nation, the delegates said expressing solidarity with family members of two martyrs and offered condolences and special prayers for the deceased,” the spokesperson said. 

On the occasion, the delegates stated that the resolution of Kashmir issue is must to bring about peace and stability in Kashmir and elsewhere.

“It is high time for the international community to actively intervene and play their role in solving the Kashmir dispute for which the Kashmiris have laid down their lives and property. The international community should fulfil its responsibilities towards finding lasting resolution to the dispute,” they said. 

Paying rich tributes to the all martyrs of Kashmir, the delegates stated that the Kashmir issue was an internationally recognized dispute and a constant source of tension between India and Pakistan. “The delegates stated that the path to peace and stability in the region would only arrive once the Kashmir dispute is solved according to the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiris. It is the moral responsibility of the UN and international community to help in solving the Kashmir issue permanently and on urgent basis so that the region could be extricated from the era of instability and insecurity”.
