Indian Air Force C-17 aircraft will airlift the mortal remains of CRPF personnel killed in a bomb attack on their convoy in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.
“Indian Air Force C-17 to go to J&K’s Srinagar from Hindon to get the mortal remains of CRPF personnel killed in Pulwama,” reported news agency ANI.
A number of CRPF personnel were killed and dozens others injured after a Fidayeen rammed his explosives-laden vehicle into a force convoy on Kashmir highway in Lethpora yesterday.
Jaish-e-Muhammad militant group claimed the attack, one of the deadliest in past three decades of Kashmir militancy.
