An IAS officer, who was attached last year after his indecent pictures went viral, was posted as director of Indian System of Medicine(ISM) on Tuesday.
The General Administration Department today ordered the posting of the said officer as director ISM, relieving Dr Abdul Kabir Dar, secretary (Technical) in the Health and Medical Education Department of the additional charge of the post.
With over 2500 plus staff including 1500 doctors, the ISM department is catering to health services through alternative system of medicines.
It may be recalled that the officer was then posted as deputy commissioner of a significant district. “Pending enquiry into his conduct the official is hereby attached in the office of divisional commissioner Jammu,” read the order issued by the GAD in August 2017.
