Former minister and chairman of Peoples Democratic Front Hakeem Yaseen on Tuesday said that imposition of President’s rule would in no way help to improve the deteriorating political and security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement here Yaseen said, “Both the security and political situations in the state have drifted from bad to worst during the last six months of the Governor’s rule in the state. Imposition of president’s rule would hardly make any difference.”
“Best way to address the prevailing grim situation is to conduct early Assembly elections in the state so that people’s grievances could be heard and redressed on ground level,” he added.
