Imran Ansari expresses concern over LoC flare-up

Peoples Conference (PC) general secretary Imran Raza Ansari on Wednesday expressed concerns over skirmishes along the Line of Control and sympathized with the families who lost their dear ones in the recent shelling.

He appealed both thecountries to leave their personal differences aside and enforce ceasefiretreaty in letter and spirit for wellbeing of people.

   

The PC leader said therehas been breach of trust over the ceasefire treaty that has claimed a life of aboy in Kupwara. “Three innocent lives were lost in recent exchange of fire andartillery by Indo and Pakistan forces. This is excruciating what the mother haslost and it can never be compensated at any cost”, he said in a statement.

He said the currentsituation was different when countries were coming closer and shaking hands towin the battle against COVID19 pandemic, but unfortunately the two neighboringcountries India and Pakistan were at helm of war against each other.

He full sympathy with thefamilies who lost their dear ones in the shelling. He said both the countriesshould leave their personal differences aside at present and work on immediateceasefire.

“It is necessary for India and Pakistan to stand together to defeat coronavirus, mostly when all nations across the world are fighting for a unanimous cause,” he said.
