Former minister and general secretary of Peoples Conference, Imran Raza Ansari, called on Governor Satya Pal Malik at Raj Bhavan here on Friday, an official spokesman said.
He said that Ansariapprised Governor about various issues of public importance and presentpolitical scenario in the state.
The Governor urged Ansari to work towards providing viablesolutions to the problems faced by people and ensuring equitable and holisticdevelopment of the state.
Meanwhile, a delegation of State Bank of India (SBI) led byAshutosh Kumar Singh, CGM, State Bank of India, Chandigarh Circle also calledon Governor Malik here and presented amemento to him on behalf of the SBI and apprised him about the Bank’s operationin J&K and its expansion plan in Ladakh region, including proposed openingof a branch at Dishkit in Nubra Valley.
The Governor appreciated the services being offered by theBank to its clients and advised Singh to explore financing skilled people inthe state under the Pradhan MantriMudra Yojna.
