Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the passing away of Muhammad Shafi Shah, uncle of its incarcerated chairman, Shabir Shah.
Shah breathed his last at his ancestral home in Anantnag early this morning.
While expressing solidarity with the bereaved family and its chairman, Shabir Shah, JKDFP Secretary General, Moulana Muhammad Abdullah Tari said that Shabir Shah lost his one more close relative when he is in jail and could not attend his funeral prayers. When the wife of Muhammad Shafi Shah passed away some years back, Shabir Shah was in jail and could not even attend her last rites.
Moulana Tari prayed for the deceased soul and expressed sympathy with the close relatives of Shabir Shah who all missed him. (GKNN)
