The armies of India and Pakistan on Tuesday fired at eachother’s positions along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammuand Kashmir.
An official said that Pakistan army initiated unprovoked firing and shelling along the LoC in Krishna Ghati, Mendhar and Mankote sectors of the district around 12:20 PM.
He said the Indian army was retaliating effectively andstrongly.
