India, Pakistan trade fire along LoC in Poonch for seventh straight day

The armies of India and Pakistan exchanged gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir for seventh consecutive day on Wednesday.

An official said the firing started at 8:15 am in Gulpur area during which the armies of the two countries used small and heavy arms to target each other.

   

However, there were no reports of any casualties or damage to properties on the either side till this report was filed.

The exchange of fire and shelling started last week in the area and has been continuing intermittently since.
