Injured Handwara youth stable after operation at B&J hospital

A youth wounded after being hit by bullets fired by army in Handwara town on Tuesday is stable, said a top doctor. 

GMC Principal Dr Kaisar Ahmad told KNS that the youth, Rayees Ahmad, was operated in his legs by the doctors at the B&J hospital.

“He was operated in his legs for bullet injuries, and is at present stable,” said Dr Kaisar. 

Army on Tuesday opened fire on locals in Handwara protesting against the alleged molestation bid on a school girl by a soldier.
