Rose Enclave Shivpora appeal Wildlife deptt
We the residents of Rose Enclave Shivpora near Masjid-e-Mohammadia appeal department of wildlife to intervene in tracking and capturing of large and small snakes found near Dhar Bagh side. We had already informed the officials of the department but till date no progress has been made in this regard. Recently snake shed its skin in the vicinity creating panic in the entire area.

Declare results
We hope that the results of entrance test of B.Tech students conducted by IUST Awantipora for admission to M.Tech food technology are not delayed any more. As its University authorities have taken around 45 days to declare the results. It’s not a good sign for delivering things properly and in a way to protect the merit of the students .
In order to maintain sanctity of the highest institutions It will be appreciable to issue the list as soon as possible to save academic year of the students as the authorities are well aware of the prevailing situations in the Valley. Why should it take time beyond expectations for just admitting 8 students in all which include 4+2+2. This is unbecoming for the university to take such issues so leniently without bothering for the career of the students.

Paravets appeal to Advisor Ganie
We the paravets have been working in J&K Animal Husbandry department since 2014. We are highly qualified and fully trained in the relevant field. We are working in far-flung areas of Kashmir division. Most of us are about to cross the upper age limit. Recently our Government announced Rabere Pashu palan scheme for veterinary graduates on pattern of Rehbare-e- Taleem.
After the announcement we approached the directorate office to get our names included in the list for the said scheme. The director has forwarded our case to principal secretary animal/sheep husbandry. Now we appeal to the Principal Secretary and Governor’s Advisor Khurshid Ahmad Ganie to include us in the Rabere Pashu palan scheme.

Don’t block internet services
We the students of district Shopian and Pulwama are suffering very badly as authorities now and then block the internet services. We request the authorities not to block internet again and allow us to prepare for our exams.

Bemina colony residents urge Governor’s admin to intervene
We want to bring it into the notice of the concerned authorities that Srinagar Municipal Corporation had undertaken drainage work of Shamasabad colony sector-3 Bemina during the last winter and the project was completed in March 2018.
After the drainage project was completed SMC did not repair the road and left us in a lurch.
The whole colony road is dotted with potholes, ditches and filled with dust all around. Even a slight drizzle leads to the link road connecting our colony with the main road into a cesspool. It makes the movement of pedestrians extremely difficult. School going children and women are the worst sufferers.
When weather remains dry clouds of dust fly over the entire colony. We are living a pathetic and miserable life.
Despite our colony being just 3kms from Lal-chowk, this has been ignored for the reasons best known to the authorities. A few months back we registered a complaint with the Government’s Grievance Cell two times and reminded them once but it was of no avail as no action was taken.
We humbly request the Governor’s administration to direct either SMC or R&B to carry out repairs and macadamisation of the road, so that we can heave a sigh of relief.

We the residents of Surnai Mohalla Kawdara Srinagar appeal the Road and Buildings department to macadamize the road which connects our colony with the main road. We have been suffering since the day authorities have constructed a drain in our area.

Poor Airtel services irk subscribers
We would like to bring it to the notice of the Airtel that with each passing day the quality of the service provided by the company in Hyderpora is deteriorating with each passing day. We are not able to avail both data and voice services especially after evenings. Airtel should take immediate steps to improve the service so that the subscribers heave a sigh of relief.

UGC advisory has no takers
Recently the University Grants Commission had issued an advisory to all universities and colleges not to sell junk food in their respective campuses. But the junk food is being sold openly in the IUST canteen at Awantipora. Authorities should take a note and implement the directions which have been passed by the UGC.
