The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) Awantipora on Sunday extended the winter vacations for the students until Tuesday (February 19).
A spokesman of the varsity said the decision was taken following a request by the students and their parents who are either from remote areas or are presently outside the valley and are unable to return in view of inclement weather conditions.
“As such the university shall now reopen on Wednesday (February 20),” he said.
