The Islamic university of science and technology (IUST)Awantipora has postponed all the semester examinations till further orders.
An official at the varsity said the decision has been takenin view of the prevailing situation in Kashmir.
“It is notified for information of all the concerned thatall the semester examinations have been postponed till further orders. Theexams will be conducted as per new date sheet to be announced separately,”reads a varsity notification issued by controller examinations IUST.
Also, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Rajouripostponed the entrance tests for M.Phil and P.hDprogrammes which were scheduledon March 03. “New dates will be notified separately,” the varsity spokesmansaid
Meanwhile, the Kashmir University (KU) has decided to resumethe class work at the main and satellite campuses from March 05. Earlier onFebruary 25, the varsity had decided to resume class work from March 01 postwinter vacations.
“This is for the information of the all concerned that theUniversity class work in the main campus and satellite campuses shall resumefrom March 05 instead of March 01,” read a university notification issued bydeputy registrar academic affairs.
