The armies of India and Pakistan on Monday targeted each other with small arms and mortars along the Line of Control (LoC) in Mendhar area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Reports said that the exchanged of fire began today morningin Krishna Ghati sector. He said the exchange took place after a gap ofeighteen hours.
The armies of the two countries exchanged heavy fire andshelling from Sunday morning until late evening.
Reports said that several civilian areas along the LoC wereaffected due to firing and shelling.
