The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) Monday declared the class 10th annual regular examination results of session 2020 of winter zone areas of Jammu division with an overall pass percentage of 66.56 percent.
As many as 24,842 students – 13,457 boys and 11,385 girls – were enrolled for the examination of which 16,536 students have been declared as qualified.
The pass percentage of the boys remained 64.52 percent while the pass percentage of girls was recorded at 68.98.
The official figures also reveal that 396 students qualified the exam with Grade A1, 2025 with A2, 3359 with B1, 4278 with B2, 4191 with C1, 2227 with C2 and 101 students qualified the exam with Grade D.
This year, the performance of the government schools has shown an improvement from last year’s 46.19 percent to 63.38 percent.
