JKBS&G organises ‘dream camp’ in Gulmarg

A two-day ‘dream camp’ organised by Jammu and Kashmir state Bharat Scouts and Guides (JKBS&G) in North Kashmir’s Gulmarg concluded.

More than 250 students and teachers from government as wellas private schools from Barmaulla, Budgam, Pulwama, Kulgam and Kupwaraparticipated in the camp.

   

Vice-President of JKBS&G, Farooq Ahmad Shah, presidedover the valedictory function, which was attended by Chief CommissionerJKBS&G, Nazir Ahmad Khan, among a number of prominent persons.

Several activities were undertaken during the camp. Theseincluded introduction of scouting, petrol system, leadership qualities, groupdiscussions, painting, drawing, easy writing, fun activities and first aidsessions.

Speaking on the occasion, Farooq Shah said, “Such camps areextremely important to inculcate discipline and eagerness in the youth. This isa movement wherein the children are being prepared for challenges.”
