Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik was arrested by police while he was on his way to offer condolences with the family of a youth killed in Kangan earlier this month.

Reports said that Malik was stopped near Preng area by the police while he was on way to Kangan to visit the family of Kangan youth Gowhar Ahmed Rather killed in police action on April 3.

A senior police official told Greater Kashmir that Malik has been detained at police station Ganderbal.
