JKLF leaders, activists hold protest rally

Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leaders and activists on Friday took out a peaceful protest rally from Aabi Guzar here against the alleged  ‘highhandedness’ of the investigating agencies and slapping of public safety act (PSA) on JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik and others.

“On the call of Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL), the JKLF leaders and activists along with people from different walks of life gathered at Abi-Guzar and staged a peaceful protest against bullying of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Syed Naseem Geelani and many others by NIA, slapping of PSA on JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, vice- president of Jamiat Ahlihadees Moulvi Mushtaq Veeri, Jamat-I-Islami spokesman advocate Zahid Ali and hundreds of others.

   

The protest was also held against the terrorist attack on worshiping Muslims in New-Zealand in which 50 people were gunned down and many more injured by the enemies of humanity,” a JKLF spokesman said in a statement.

“Besides people from many walks of life, various JKLF leadersincluding Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Sheikh Abdul Rashid, Muhammad Sideeq Shah,Professor Javed, and others participated in this protest program,” thespokesman added.
