JKSM pays tributes to MaqboolBhat, Afzal Guru

Addressing the members, Zaffer Akbar paid tributes to both the ‘martyrs who were hanged and buried in India''s Tihar Jail in false and baseless cases.’

Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement, while paying tributes to Muhammad Afzal Guru and Muhammad MaqboolBhat on Sunday, stressed upon its leaders and workers to ‘fight till the dawn of freedom.’

In a meeting of JKSM supreme council members, also attended by party’s district representatives besides Voice of Victims organizer Abdul Raouf Khan and party women wing secretary RuqiyaBaji, Zaffer Akbar Bhat was elected as Chairman of the party for next five years.

Addressing the members, Zaffer Akbar paid tributes to both the ‘martyrs who were hanged and buried in India’s Tihar Jail in false and baseless cases.’

Zaffer said, “ShaheedMaqboolBhat and Afzal Guru are shining stars of our resistance history that will keep illuminating our struggle and the best way to salute them is to reaffirm and not to compromise on the sacred cause of freedom.”

Meanwhile, JKSM spokesman condemned the house detention of Zaffer Akbar Bhat.
