JRL calls shutdown on Tuesday against ‘ill-treatment’ to JKLF chief Yasin Malik

Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has called a protest shutdown inKashmir on Tuesday against “ill-treatment meted-out to the ailing andincarcerated JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik by NIA at Delhi”.

In a statement, the JRL said the shutdown would also be observed againstthe “ongoing aggression of NIA and ED against Kashmiri resistance leaders,activists, senior businessmen, trade union leaders, kith and kin of resistanceleaders and other people from different walks of like.”

   

The JRL said that the “highhandedness” of the NIA has “forced” Malikto go on a hunger strike. “The life of ailing Yasin Malik who is admitted atRML Hospital Delhi is in danger and rulers and their agencies are busy inplaying with his life callously,” said the JRL, in the statement.
