Secretary, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Budgam, Tabasum Quadir Parray on Sunday said that Judiciary is always at the forefront to fight drug menace in Jammu and Kashmir.
District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Budgam in collaboration with social welfare department Budgam has launched an impressive online campaign against drug addiction, its use and the hazardous effects it can cause to humanity particularly the young generation who are most vulnerable in becoming its prey.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary, DLSA Budgam Tabasum Quadir Parray, said that the online campaign against this menace is a positive initiative in spreading mass awareness. “Our aim is to help all other agencies, NGOs, administration who are presently envisaging their role in eradicating this menace,” she said.
Moreover, the DLSA Secretary said the judiciary is always on the front on this issue and you will find the judiciary always doing its part with desire and endeavor when there is initiative relating to common man’s benefit and cause.
She stressed that drug addiction menace shall be taken as a serious threat which damages the future prospects of our young energetic youth. “Anyone involved in this menace not only proves fatal for his family but to the whole society will,” she cautioned.
