Justice Magrey stresses on timely disposal of cases

J&K High Court judge, Justice Ali Muhammad Magray on Saturday stressed on timely disposal of cases to ensure speedy justice.

During his visit here,Justice Magray inspected various sections of District Court Complex, Baramullawhere Principal District and Sessions Judge, Sanjeev Gupta, briefed him aboutthe day-to-day functioning.

   

JusticeMagray took review of various developmental activities undertaken by executingagencies in various courts of the district.

He directed the Additional Deputy Commissioner, MuhammadAhsan Mir to expedite land possession cases in which judiciary was one of thestakeholders.

Justice Magray directed the authorities of PHE division toensure that drinking water supplied to various courts was in accordance withthe requisite standards and parameters.

The visiting judge alsoasked for immediate submission of detailed Project Report (DPR) for constructionof Dangiwacha court complex besides initiation of construction work onresidential quarters in court complex Sopore.

The Ist Additional DistrictJudge, Baramulla, Naseer Ahmad Dar; Additional District Sessions Judge, Sopore,Aijaz Ahmad Khan; sub-judge, Baramulla (Secretary DLSA) Faizan ul Haq Iqbal andmembers of Baramulla Bar Association were present on the occasion.

Later, the judge held a meeting with members of theAssociation wherein they appraised him about various issues and demandspertaining to overall welfare of the judiciary.
