Scores of residents from the remote border area of Karnah stranded here for more than a month protested on Thursday.
The residents led by ExMLA Raja Manzoor demanded construction of Sadhna tunnel and restoration of roadconnectivity which they said is cut off for more than a month followingsnowfall.
“We are suffering, all theland routes are closed due to snow and governments at state and centre arenon-serious about construction of Sadhna tunnel,” said Raja Manzoor.
“The area is currentlyunder darkness without electricity, there is acute shortage of essentialsupplies which is taking a heavy toll on the locals,” he said.
