The KAS officers Association on Wednesday condemned the incident of manhandling of Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Dooru and his subordinates by the government forces.
The association said that they have taken the matter withthe higher ups.
“We have taken up the issue with higher authorities forlodging of FIR in the matter and for getting it investigated on fast trackbasis so that the guilty are punished under the law,” the association said in astatement.
They said that they have appraised the higher authorities ofthe negative fallout of the incident as the same has downed the morale of theentire KAS fraternity, which is working under the toughest circumstances notonly to conduct the ensuing parliamentary elections but to implement thepolicies and programmes of the Government in the state.
The association said that it hopes that the matter will betaken to its logical conclusion in keeping with the genuine aspirations of theKAS fraternity.
The association said that in case FIR is not lodged in thematter the KAS fraternity shall resort to other forceful measures to ensurethat such unfortunate incidents don’t happen in future.
