Kashmir CBSE-affiliated schools score 100% result in class 10

The students of the Central Board of School Education-affiliated schools in J&K have performed pretty well this year in the class 10th exams 2018-19, results of which were declared on Monday.

As per the results, Harmanpreet Kour of Jodhamal PublicSchool has bagged the first position in the Jammu province by scoring 99.4percent marks. She attributed her success to self-study. Anargya Chib from KCPublic School and Arnav Vivek Gupta from Jodhamal Public School have shared thesecond position.

   

In Kashmir, all CBSE-affiliated schools have achieved 100percent results. This year, it was the first batch from Doon InternationalSchool which appeared in the class 10th CBSE exams. The school has produced 100percent result. Of the 23 students that appeared in the exams, 17 students havebagged distinction in the exams. Abdul Mujeeb has bagged first position in theschool by scoring 94.2 percent marks.

The Delhi Public School (DPS) Athwajan also achieved100percent success rate, and of the 269 students that had appeared in the exams,212 had distinction.

Ruwayda Arshad has bagged first position by scoring 97.8percent marks. Shah Immad and Sahil Firdous have shared the second position inthe school by scoring 97.2 percent marks. Fahad Farooq got 97 percent marks andsecured third position.

Chairman DPS Baramulla Mohsin Iqbal said the school achieved100 percent pass result and “all 44 students had good marks”.

Yamin Rashid has bagged the first position in school byscoring 90.5 percent marks.All class 10 students of GD Goenka School Jammupassed the exam while 22 students of JK Public School Kunjwani secured above 95percent marks in the exams.
