Kashmir Law College holds programme on social advocacy

Kashmir Law College Srinagar in collaboration with the Sentinel Law, a Trust created for Social Justice and Legal Reforms, on Friday conducted one day programme at the college campus here on social advocacy.  

Dean of the Kashmir Law College Professor Syed MuhammadAfzal Qadri welcomed the guests, the team of Sentinel Law and the students.

   

Advocate Zahoor Wani, a US-based Attorney was the keyspeaker at the occasion who emphasized over the need of taking the SocialIssues through litigation before the courts to seek the implementation ofrights guaranteed by the law while interacting with the students.

The team of Sentinel Law including Bilal Wani, AdvocateAltaf Mehraj, Advocate Ruhaab Mir, Advocate Safura Amin and Aaliya Tabassumhighlighted the need for volunteerism and internships for the students of law.

Professor G.Q Mir thanked all the guests and the studentsand impressed upon the students to take lead in getting themselves associatedwith the organizations like the Sentinel Law in order to keep themselves up tothe standards of modern learning and training.
