Kashmir Solidarity Day: Qom Conference in Iran urges India, Pakistan to resolve Kashmir dispute

A conference held in Qom city of Iran has urged India and Pakistan to enter into dialogue to resolve long pending Kashmir issue.  

The conference was held on Monday in solidarity with Kashmiris on ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’

   

This conference was organised by Tehreek e Ittehad Ummat Jammu and Kashmir, International Wilayat Mission and Majlis Branch of Majlis e Wahdat Muslimeen in Qom.

The conference was presided over by Dr Syed Shafqat Zaidi, a member of Majlis Wahdat Pakistan.

During his speech at the conference, he condemned the killings of Muslims in Kashmir and other countries.

He urged Muslim communities to support people of Kashmir openly.

Zaidi also condemned the “Silence of Muslim nations and World human rights organisations towards the atrocities on Muslims especially in Kashmir.

The speakers on the occasion urged India, Pakistan India to enter into dialogue to resolve long pending Kashmir Issue.

“We pay homage to the sacrifices of our brethren in Kashmir and reiterate our unflinching, moral and political support for the just cause of people of Kashmir,” one of a speakers said.

Large gatherings of scholars and students from different countries attended the conference.

At the end of the conference, special prayers were also held for the people of Kashmir and other Muslims across the globe.
