The authorities at the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) and Kashmir University have announced winter vacation for the students from January 01.
As per the circular issued by the IUST administration, the winter vacation will be observed in the IUST including government polytechnic by all teaching staff excluding deans and heads of the departments and in-charge of departments and centres, coordinator polytechnic IUST.
“The vacation will be observed from January 01 to February 16 2019,” the circular reads.
The winter vacation in Kashmir University (KU) will be observed from January 01 to February 28.
“The class work of all the teaching departments of main and satellite campuses shall observe winter vacation from January 01 to February 28,” read a KU circular.
All the departmental offices shall function normally and the heads of the departments shall ensure that the examination are conducted as per schedule, added the order.
