Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Wednesday said people of Kashmir will always uphold their tradition of ensuring safety to outsiders at all costs. Taking to twitter, Mirwaiz termed the mob attacks on Kashmiris as “shameful”. Praying for well-being of Kashmiris, he condemned the threats of boycott and expulsion of Kashmiri students. “The attacks on Kashmiri students and traders in parts of India are shameful. Open threats of boycott and expulsion of students are condemnable. My prayers for the safety and well-being of all. People of Kashmir will always uphold the tradition of ensuring safety of outsiders at all costs,” Mirwaiz tweeted.
