The residents of Keran, Kupwara, Monday staged a protest here against lack of basic facilities including electricity and internet in their area.
“We still live in stone age. Our village is not electrifiedand our roads are not macadamised. Our children have to travel miles to reachcollege and our women still fetch water from the river or springs,” theprotesters said.
They requested the J&K Governor to look into theirproblem.
