Khawaja Hanif's demise condoled

People from different walks of life have condoled the demise of Khawaja Hanif, father of editor Shaherbeen, Radio Kashmir, Khawaja Maqsood Ahmad.

On Monday people from different walks of life offered condolence to the bereaved family at their ancestral village of Garkote in Uri tehsil of Baramulla district.

Khawaja Hanif passed away on Sunday after a brief illness. He was 85.

Peoples Conference leaders Sajad Lone, Abdul Gani Vakil and Imran Ansari have condoled demise and expressed solidarity with Maqsood Ahmad. Former speaker and chairman rural development society Mubarak Gul, chairman RDS north Kashmir Khawaja Muhammad Shafi and district chairman Baramulla Abdul Majeed Akhoon have expressed profound grief over the demise.

Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) has also condoled the demise of Khawaja Muhammad Hanif. Expressing grief over the death, DAK President Dr Nisar ul Hassan described the deceased as a noble soul who always helped poor and needy. Noted broadcaster Fayyaz Ahmad Fayyaz has also offered his condolences to the bereaved family saying the deceased would always work for underprivileged and downtrodden.

Karnah Civil Society president Peerzada Sirajuddin Qureshi has also expressed greif over the demise of Khawaja Hanif and offered sympathy to bereaved family.
