KU VC reviews functioning of Leh Campus

Vice-Chancellor, University of Kashmir, Prof Talat Ahmad has impressed upon the faculty of Satellite Campus, Leh to actively play its role in improving quality of higher education of Ladakh region.

Prof Talat directed the faculty members to provide quality facilities to the students and researchers at the Campus.

In view of its geographical location, Prof Talat emphasised to introduce interdisciplinary courses like Geo-Tourism and Eco-Tourism at Leh Campus. During his visit to the campus the VC declared it “plastic-free” zone.

Addressing the faculty, Prof Talat reiterated his commitment to ensure sustained growth and progression of all the satellite campuses in line with the University’s mission of providing higher education at the doorsteps of its aspirants.

He assured that University was tirelessly making efforts to provide all required infrastructure and facilities for the staff and students of Leh campus. Faculty members of the campus also put forth their suggestions on improving the academic environment at the campus.
