KU VC reviews functioning of Leh Campus

Vice-Chancellor, University of Kashmir, Prof Talat Ahmad has impressed upon the faculty of Satellite Campus, Leh to actively play its role in improving quality of higher education of Ladakh region.

Prof Talat directed the faculty members to provide qualityfacilities to the students and researchers at the Campus.

   

In view of its geographical location, Prof Talat emphasisedto introduce interdisciplinary courses like Geo-Tourism and Eco-Tourism at LehCampus. During his visit to the campus the VC declared it “plastic-free” zone.

Addressing the faculty, Prof Talat reiterated his commitmentto ensure sustained growth and progression of all the satellite campuses inline with the University’s mission of providing higher education at thedoorsteps of its aspirants.

He assured that University was tirelessly making efforts toprovide all required infrastructure and facilities for the staff and studentsof Leh campus. Faculty members of the campus also put forth their suggestionson improving the academic environment at the campus.
