Yet another alleged technical fault has rendered the under construction Kunzar-Chanapora bridge unsafe.
Residents told Greater Kashmir that this bridge has beenhaunting them for the past 15-years. “Authorities should complete theprotection work of this bridge forthwith to end the connectivity problem between50 villages with Srinagar-Gulmarg road,” they said.
They said that the recent flash floods damaged the embankments of this underconstruction bridge over Ferozpore Nallah . “We urge the Governor’s AdvisorKhurshid Ahmad Ganai and R&B Chief Engineer to intervene and direct the concerned officials to repair this bridge atthe earliest,” they added.
