A landslide hit the Kangan-Babanagri-Wangath road in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday afternoon, hampering the pedestrian and traffic movement.
Locals said the slide hit the road at Panzla, hampering the traffic movement.
Soon after the incident, the administration issued an advisory for the public residing in Wangath, Babanagri, Kachnambal and adjoining areas of Kangan sub division.
The people in these areas were advised not to travel on the Babanagri- Wangath road patch of Kangan-Babanagri-Wangat road till further instructions.
Mehraj-ud-din Shah, SDM Kangan told Greater Kashmir that the maintaining agency of PMGSY authorities has been directed to clear the debris on the road.
