A leopard was captured alive by the officials of the Wildlife Department in Ramwari area of Kangan in Ganderbal district on Wednesday.
The leopard was spotted by the locals in Ramwari area of Kangan after which they informed the wildlife officials.
Local said that the leopard was in an injured condition but the Wildlife officials said it was not injured.
A Wildlife official said that they captured the leopard alive after tranquilising it. He said that the leopard would be released in Dachigam Wildlife Sanctuary.
