A Special LokAdalat under the chairmanship of Abdul Rashid Malik -Chairman District Legal services Authority (Pr. District and Sessions Judge) Srinagar was organized by this authority on 22nd of July 2019.
Two benches were constituted during the LokAdalat. Bench No01 was presided over by YahyaFirdous (Special Mobile Magistrate (Traffic)Srinagar and Adnan Sayeed (Secretary DLSA Srinagar). Bench No 02 was presidedover by Mir Wajahat (Addl. Mobile Magistrate Srinagar and Shuja Khan (RetainerLawyer). About 7000 traffic challans were taken up out of which 6656 challanswere settled and an amount of Rs. 4,77,850 were realized as fine.
