A Lok Adalat was organised by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) today at district headquarter court complex Anantnag under the chairmanship of Principal District and Session Judge and Chairman DLSA Mohammed Ashraf Malik.
Two benches were constituted for the Lok Adalat. The LokAdalats were also held at subordinate courts at Tehsil Level.
165 cases related to MACT, Civil, Criminal, Compoundable andMatrimonial cases were taken up in the Lok Adalat out of which 79 cases wereamicably settled.
An amount of Rs 11,750 was also realized in fisheries andtraffic challans, an official handout said.
