Leader of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement (JKPM) Shehla Rashid has extended her support to an Independent candidate from Kargil, Sajjad Hussain, who would contest Lok Sabha election from Kargil-Leh parliamentary seat.
Shehla in a tweet congratulated Sajjad Hussain and wishedhim victory. Sajjad Hussain (Kargili) is likely to file his nomination for thesaid Lok Sabha seat on Thursday 18 April.
“More idealistic youth like Sajjad Kargili should come intopolitics so that the genuine issues of people can be brought to the forefront,”she said in a statement.
