Make recruitment process transparent: Tarigami to J&K Bank

CPIM state secretary and former MLA MY Tarigami on Thursday said there is confusion in recently announced merit list for the probationary officer aspirants and it need to be cleared.

“Due to this chaos, there are rumors that some brokers arecollecting money from gullible aspirants which is most unfortunate. There arereports that such practices were done in the past as well. Jammu and KashmirBank management must clear the confusion and doubts created due to the changein cut off marks in the merit list for probationary officer aspirants,” Tarigamisaid in a written statement.

   

 “Responsibilitiesmust be fixed and those who are found guilty must be punished. Let the Bankmanagement make the points of all candidates public and if any candidate hasany doubt he must be provided the answer sheets under RTI Act forre-verification. The Bank management must maintain absolute transparency andfairness in the recruitment process,” he stressed.

 Also, the bankmanagement must make public as to what happened to the decision of the StateAdministrative Council (SAC) headed by Governor Satya Pal Malik that hadordered the bank should be brought under the RTI and made accountable beforethe legislature. “What happened to that order and why is that order not beingimplemented?” he asked.
