Welfare Committee Makhdoom Sahab, at its general meeting held here on Sunday, vehemently condemned the registration of FIR against its president and general secretary.
“The meeting was attended by a large number of residents ofthe locality who staged protest on the occasion against the registration of FIRagainst the Committee president and general secretary. The participants at themeeting vowed to continue campaign against the illegal trade of drugs andnarcotics at TujriMohalla Sheikh Colony,” a spokesman of the Welfare Committee,in a statement today, said.
Meanwhile, the Welfare Committee has thanked Governor SatyaPal Malik, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq for supportingthe residences’ campaign and raising voice against trade of narcotics anddrugs.
