A person was feared dead after he got drowned into a power canal here, officials said on Wednesday.
They said a person slipped into a canal of Ganderbal power house at Preng village.
“He is feared dead,” said an official from the district, who was not authorized to speak to media.
The police along with locals are on job to retrieve the body, he added.
The drowned person has been identified as Zubair Ahmed Khan (35).
