One person was killed while another injured in an accident in Ganderbal district last night, an official said.
He said accident occurred when a car en-route to Naranag skidded off the road and fell into a gorge at Pahilnar near Kangan.
In the accident one person died on the spot, while another was rushed to Sub District Hospital Kangan, where from he was referred to SKIMS Soura hospital for specialized treatment, an official added.
The deceased was identified as Alam Rasool Khan (59), a fruit contractor from Wusan, while injured was identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Shah (45) from Kangan, a local PDP leader.
