Maraz Adbi Sangam in collaboration with Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) on Saturday felicitated noted poet and former Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Aziz Hajini, while recalling his contribution in the field of art and culture.
According to an official spokesperson, the function waspresided by noted poet Ghulam Nabi Aatish, while as other dignitaries includingnoted poet and broadcaster Farooq Nazki, Director Department of Information andPublic Relations (DIPR), Gulzar Ahmad Shabnum, Yousuf Jehangir were present inthe presidium.Director Information Gulzar Ahmad Shabnum on the occasion applauded Dr.Hajini for successfully completing his years in active government service. Hesaid that the felicitation to Dr. Hajini by cross section of the society speaksvolumes about his sincere and dedicated work done in various capacities duringhis long tenure. He hoped that Dr. Hajini proves a torch bearer for the younggeneration of the State to work in the field of Art Culture and Languages.
